By giving this ease of access to justice back to the people, we aim to keep money in their pockets rather than on lengthy court procedures and fees.

History
2015: Our founders, Philippe Lacoursière and Alexandre Desy, begin brainstorming and quickly realize 2 things; the legal system is antiquated and a major overhaul of legal services is needed.
2016: Our French website, OnRègle.com, is launched in Quebec. From the start, our goal has been to help people settle their cases in an affordable manner.
2016: OnRègle.com wins first prize in the OSEntreprendre Competition (Montreal Metropolitan Area).
2017: BidSettle.com, our original English website, becomes available across Canada.
2017: OnRègle.com wins merit from the Québec Bar for its innovation and access to justice.
2017-2018: The company is the most recognized Legaltech business in Quebec; it places as a finalist and wins a series of entrepreneurship awards including: OSEntreprendre, La Ruche Académie, CBA’s The Pitch, GrindSpace XL…
2018: OnRègle breaks its first record by serving over 1,000 customers in just a couple of months.
2018: OnRègle formalizes a partnership with Protégez-Vous to offer legal tools to consumers.
2019: OnRègle launches small claims support and family mediation services.
2020: OnRègle.com expands its services to Ontario.
2020: OnRègle signs a major partnership with the Canadian Bar Association: Quebec Division.
2021: Our company is acquired by Edilex, one of the largest legal software companies in Quebec, allowing us to reach more people than ever before.
2021: Legalhood.com, our new English website, is launched with the aim of offering our full service catalogue to Ontario.
