How it Works
It is important to understand what your rights and obligations are to your former partner or spouse. You will be accompanied by a lawyer to draft a Separation Agreement that will finalize issues of property, support, and parenting.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Your spouse must be willing to participate. The lawyer will invite your spouse to participate in a video conference meeting.
You must complete our interactive form by answering simple questions.
You can do it anywhere and anywhere with a stable Internet connection.
We will send your ex-spouse an email (and a phone call if deemed necessary) to invite them to fill out a form and provide us with their relevant information.
PLEASE NOTE: you must provide your ex-spouse’s valid email address as this is how we will communicate with them. We highly recommend that you let your ex-spouse know that they should expect an email from us. They may want to check their spam folder.
Once both forms have been received, we will assign you a lawyer within three (3) working days.The latter will then confirm the time and date of your video conference.
Please make sure your camera and microphone are functional. If one of the two doesn’t work, you can connect by phone.
A 48-hour grace period is offered. You may request a full refund up to 48 hours following the completion of both forms.
Within seven (7) business days following your session with the lawyer, assuming you have provided all the required documents, the latter will send you the Separation Agreement.
You will then need to sign the dated agreement in the presence of a witness for it to become a legally binding contract.
